Solid quality at a great price.
In the past I’ve always had the plastic variety of this spray gun. Both the shops own brand and the most well known bright yellow brand. Due to the virus lockdown buying one in store was not possible and drove me to quite intense online shopping research. I was shocked at how expensive the well known brands were so the price of this caught my attention. It also looked like a quality well made product. It is the first “metal” spray I have tried. It is heavier than the plastic variety and has a solid well made feel to it. It easily fitted into my hoses existing fitting without leaking. It has a good variety of sprays and one I hadn’t seen before which is “full on”. This setting is not a jet spray (which it also has) but it means the water comes out as if there was no fitting on the hose. Very useful for filling watering cans. I could have got a plastic spray cheaper but this wasn’t really that much extra. It has a quality well made feel and works well. Great at the price. Hozelock 5 Pattern Spray Unit
An excellent product, and sold here at a competitive price. Spray is very easy to connect, and is interchangeable with all makes of connector similar to the Hozelock type. Simply twist the head of the unit to change between the 5 various modes, from gentle watering of more delicate plants, though to "tap strength" filling of buckets flows! An excellent bit of kit. Solid chrome plated metal construction, every spray pattern you could want from fine mist to wide angle spray to powerful single jet. Easy to read spray patterns just click into place so no guessing half way setting dribbles. On top of that, no leaks like you get with the brand name plastic one. Quality Hozelock product.
I have bought several of these Hozelock sprays over the years. Brand quality is consistently good ,as is connectivity with other components....I would never consider buying anything else. Being used not only for the garden,it is treated quite roughly when washing our vehicles on our concrete parking area. This tends to cause fractures in the plastic After a while but that is entirely down to us! We still get several years usage out of each one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A good brand
I haven’t used this yet as my old Hoselock head is still in place, almost worn out I’m leaving it until frosts have gone as it’s little used in winter. I usually take them off or protect them to prevent freezing but it’s still up to rinsing the car and muddy boots for now. Great spray gun
This spray gun was bought to replace a damaged and leaking one of the same brand, effectively a direct replacement. All functions on the gun work as intended and most importantly, no leaks. Each mode of the spray gun gives a reasonably powerful jet of water to suit whatever function is required. This is a super product - does exactly what it's supposed to. The variety of spray settings means gives me the flexibility to blast mud from the ground, or gently water seedlings. Robust and long lived when compared to plastic ones.
My hoses sit outside all year so that are sun and cold. This is the second one of this type that I have purchased, the first one is still alive and well. I've purchased this type of gun on 3 seperate occasions due to forgetting to protect against frost. I use my external water hose all year round. By simply removing the gun from the hose and squeezing the trigger to drain off the small amount of water thus preventing the gun freezing and and then splitting.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
