Nice little run and house, check measurements carefully.
This is a decent quality, nice looking run and house, but do check the dimensions. It is small, and will only be useful to house one or two small bantams, they will need more outside space if they will be in there for any length of time and the perches are very low. Would be great for quail though. It was a bit complicated to set up, so you will need a drill driver and a helper, and you can't change the sides the doors / nest boxes are on.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Large coop. Small run. Sturdy and easy to build.
If this coop is just for your chucks to overnight in then yes this is a good size coop, but if this is a solution for you to keep chickens without them destroying your garden, it's going to need an upgrade. Saying that the coop itself was easy to assemble and is quite a sturdy thing where my ladies love hanging out. Not the best instructions but just use your common sense.

Quality looking coop
I'm happy with my purchase after comparing it to loads online. I like the colour wood and it looks really nice too. I'm actually using mine for my kitten who can't go out alone just yet so she can still get fresh air / smells / sight from being in it. I get in it with her! It would have been good if it came with a wire mesh roof as well as the solid roof but I've bought a cheap one so it's ok. One thing to agree on, with another reviewer, is that several nails were very hard to screw in by hand. Good value
A good value hutch for rabbits, not sure about chickens. The item went together easily, no missing G or damaged parts and the quality is good enough. The wood is fairly soft and the mesh isn't the best, but for the price it is good. Requires a few modifications as listed below; *Plastic flap over gap left between nest box roof and the side of the coop *Extra piece of wood fitted to interior of lifting main roof to hold it together better when opening *Extra locks (small hasp & staple) * Better mesh (I have doubled up using some of a similar mesh from Wilko) Overall, it's a good buy if you are willing to make a few minor modifications, it looks great painted with Cuprinol Garden Shades. A decent pen for 3 normal or 4/5 bantams
For the price we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and construction on the pen and run. It has provided adequate temporary accommodation for six ex-battery hens but is, practically, too small for a permanent pen for that size and quantity of birds. I guess it would be okay for that number of bantams. Our hens will shortly move into a custom made run and chicken shack, but this will make an ideal pen for the introduction of new birds in future.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Reasonably priced hen house
In its price range it was spot on. Well designed, very easy to erect, as all parts were identifiable by letters printed onto each piece. Our only problem has been splitting wood in a few places. (Eg. Where the bolt was screwed to the frame, it has split the wood.). Under the lid there is a crack where someone appears to have stood on it. Very well designed and good value.
I've put together a lot of hutches, shelves, cupboards and so on in my time and this is a lot better put together than most. Comes with dowells and pre-drilled holes and there is basically only one way to put it together! Lots of neat touches that makes this a good buy. The hinges and lock are the only slight niggle but that's mainly because of foxes and wear and tear. For the price it's a bargain. excellent backyard dwelling
Bought to rehome my girls, this is a decent coop for 4 chickens, wouldn't put any more in though. Easy to build, felt a bit flimsy during the build, as soon as the roof went on it, it all tied together and ended up solid enough. The slide hatch makes it easy to let the birds in and out, and the removable floors and slide pan make it simple to do a deep clean. Not as many nooks and crannies for mites and bugs to hide in. My girls seem to like it and took to it straight away, so if they are happy so am I.
