    Great Air-Con recharge kit

In the current hot weather my commute became sticky, so I decided to give this kit a go. I have a 2008 Renault Clio and the kit valve fitted the low pressure port perfectly. The kit instructions are simple and exact, doing the job was simple and the end result was a very cold blast of air and chilly interior,Excellent! I only needed the one can this time, but may or may not need another in the future, as there must be a small leak over time in order to need to recharge. Highly recommended.

    Too little gas

A really well produced product. Well packaged and promptly delivered. The pipe, the connectors and the gauge are fine and are well worth having. However, the gas bottle, its size or volume nowhere mentioned, is tiny, only 100 mL. On my Mercedes, which only needed a minor top-up, this small amount of gas made an unnoticeable difference.

  • Give it a try

Having previously taken my car to a garage for a re-gas, blindly hoping that was the fault (it wasn’t) and paying £60 to release the gasses back out into the atmosphere through the undetected leak I wanted to take matters into my own hands with my new car. The kit comes with very clear instructions. Have a read and make sure you understand the processes. The refrigerant meter is easy to install and read. The pipes could do with being a bit longer but I guess that depends where your connections are located in your particular make vehicle. Once you’ve taken a reading you use the instructions to decide what to do next. My compressor was not working due to the low level of refrigerant so for my vehicle I needed to use the included can of refrigerant. Again this was a simple step. Ten minutes later and my car is now blowing very cold air. The meter is re-usable so next time it will be even cheaper to do. All in all a very good product and one I would highly recommend.

  • What a great product

I thought i would try this and hopefully save money, as i had three cars that needed re-gassing. What a joy, the system is so easy to use, the instructions are very clear, i even checked out the video. One of the vehicles had an obvious leak, the leak fix appears to have sealed it, hasn't lost pressure in a week. Does exactly what it says on the tin.

  • Not good value at £50

£50 seemed expensive, I hoped the can would provide a couple of top ups but it’s small and really only one use. I’ve since seen the can for sale much cheaper on uk hot deals, £23,very disappointing. For £50i could’ve had a pro do it.

  • As cold as an asthmatic dog farting at you.

Followed the instructions to the letter. Air con gets a tiny bit colder, but it's like an old man coughing at you over his glass of real ale. Go to a professional. They're not much more expensive. I learned the hard way, now I'm crying warm tears that are mingling into my sweat.

  • easy uae

i got this after getting a price from a couple of local garages that regas your car well i can say it was easy to use and the instructions where spot on plus it only took me about 10 mins from start to finish and it was at least half the cost of a garage to do it for me. Also the pipe work you get with the tin is reuawable so no need to spend out on a full kit again just get the gas .

  • DIY Aircon

Easy and simple to use instructions provided , easy to use product. No gimmicks. Looks like garages and Halfrauds have been confusing the consumer with black magic, smoke and mirrors for years, get this product and do it yourself, so simple chimps could do it.

  • Just don't do it. It costs £40-£50 for a complete clean and regas at a professional garage.

I used this product to top up my car air con that was not getting as cold as it used to. After using the product the air con stopped working completely. I took it to a local garage for a complete clean and regas and they said that whatever oil or 'gunk' is in this kit had completely blocked my system. They had to flush the system twice and regas it to fix the damage done by this item. I contacted the company and exchanged a few messages and they assure me that there is no 'oil' in the item. I can only quote what the local professionals told me!
