Brilliant Headset!
I absolutely love these headphones! I use them at every chance I get. Sound quality is superb. Bass is natural and deep. Music sounds crisp and clear. Mid-range is also very good, so vocals sound great. Can't fault it! Build quality can be better. They're not light and can be a bit uncomfortable if you use them for a couple of hours. The on/off button is in a silly position, so the headphones can turn by itself when folded. My solution is that I only fold one side. It fits well in the bag, so not a problem for me. However - those are just minor niggles. For the price, you are getting a top range headset. it ranks up there with products that cost £100 more! No brainer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fine for 2 months. Now glitchy and broken.
Sound quality is good although the default bass response is so high it ruins some music - I EQ'd it on my PC to compensate. I guess some people like to be drowned in bass or they wouldn't make them like this. Not ideal for me but easy to address so no problem there. The physical 2.5mm port on these phones became glitchy after about 3 months' gentle use at my desk. After 5 months it won't work at all - tested with 2 sources and two cables. The seller ignored my request for a replacement so I decided I would use them only with Bluetooth. After 6 months the left speaker unit fell off completely with no force or impact whatsoever. I just picked them up and the thing was hanging by the signal cable! I have AKG studio phones at home that are bulletproof so the shoddy build quality is a real disappointment. They won't get an easier ride anywhere than on my desk at work - carried around or abused & dropped they wouldn't last the week.

Sound quality of these headphones is amazing. They are so comfortable and can be worn for long periods without any problems. My only small gripe which really isn’t much is the battery life isn’t as long as stated (20 hrs) but still lasts a considerable time. Unreliable build quality.
This is AKG. So obviously the sound is going to be impressive. However, the build quality is not good. Got one ear piece disconnected from the rest of the headphones within a week (and I was babying it)! And I bought them new. I already saw some reviews with the exact same problem with headphones breaking within a week of use. Can highly reccomend these for sound quality, however not worn for prolonged periods so far.
I haven't worn for an extended period and I feel that they may get a bit sweaty as they are a "firm" fit, but man, the sound quality is flipping amazing - wireless, from a phone, quite incredible really, I never thought they would be so good, I think the sound is better than by AKG and Sony wired headphones and the Sony's cost £120.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Dreadful build quality

Excellent headphones
These excellent headphones considering the price vs sound quality. These are for people who likes neutral sound. Very balanced with a very tight warm tone, but only very slight. I like acoustic music, vocal, harp piano guitar etc, and I am very happy with these AKGs. In fact they give my £200 sennheiser a good run for the money, not to mention having blue tooth as well which sounds excellent. I state they are uncomfortable, this is a bit harsh as I do have a rather large head, and stated by many, the heahband is a bit tight for long use.
