    Exactly What I Wanted

I needed a mobile drill with more torque than my cordless drill for a specific job, but I certainly don’t want anything more suited to demolition. I also didn’t want anymore cheap drill or screwdriver bits as these are neither use nor ornament. Most drilling problems are down to cheap bits" This drill fits the bill perfectly. Quite a powerful 1050 Watt motor it’s torque has to be at least equal to anything else in its range. It comes in a cardboard box with a chuck key, a handle and depth gauge. That’s everything I wanted, no more, no less. My only gripe is the 13mm chuck. These are fine for wood and I’m happy with them on my cordless drills. However on a heavy duty drill that is liable to be used on thicker metal I think a 16mm would have been a better option.

  • Most critical review

    Poor quality

Rough edge on body of drill, gaps in plastic, dirt marks on handle and body looks second hand and cheaply made, sticker with terrak also hanging off, Hermes delivered and through it in with my rubbish bin which also left the electric drill wet. Haven’t the time to send it back or energy totally disappointed and would not recommend.

  • Good working tool

This product has surprise me because it is very powerful for the size Is at this time of using it it's good working tool so I am pleased with it bit on the heavy side but ok.

  • A lot better than expected for the price.

A very powerful drill for the money and seems well made, not sure about the variable speed control though, it seems to be just on or off when you turn it. It is far better than I expected for the price and makes a perfect Christmas gift.

  • Good value for money

Minimal use so far, Comfortable and easy to use, has a key chuck (my preference). Controls smooth and intuitive. Lighter than expected. Delivery fast and as advised.

  • Terratek corded drill 1050 watt.

This product comes from Doncaster but i would imagine it is manufactured in China, it is well made and appears to be quite powerful, the two year guarantee is useful also, easy to use with a variable speed dial, well worth the money.

  • Value for money

I have seen more expensive well known Hammer drills with less power and durability. I think this product can match any of those more expensive less durable products.

  • Nice little drill, good for home jobs

Nice little drill, good for home jobs, no case to keep it Good rubber touch handle

  • Control of the variable speed

The product was satisfactory however I found that the variable speed control could not be set for a fixed speed unless you kept your finger ob the trigger. The speed control was too sensitive for my use.
