DJI Mavic 2 Pro
Truly amazing piece of technology. Does everything it is supposed to do. Don't be mis-led by reports of fly-aways’ and rogue crashes, they are almost always pilot error or pilots who totally ignoring legal requirements and flight advice. Every type of warning imaginable is built into this highly sophisticated drone, but ignore them at your peril. These Drones are expensive to repair or replace. There is a lot to learn about this superb flying camera platform, but it is definitely not intended as a racing drone. Sport mode should only be used by competent pilots as obstacle sensors are then switched off and orientation can be a problem, plus it goes very fast. Take time to learn fully about the drone before even thinking about flying it and don't carry out the first flight indoors, choose an open space with no obstacles or trees. Lots of don'ts to think about, but do enjoy many hours of wonderful footage from the excellent camera and do enjoy the flying experience after first registering with the CAA in the UK. If you want to use a bigger screen than your phone, make sure you refer to the DJI web site for fully supported devices. Expensive but worth it
This drone is amazing!!! I flew model aircraft as a kid and recently started to get back in the hobby but using a drone. The Mavic 2 is my fourth drone and it has been worth the wait. I am still in beginner mode and learning how to fly this fast and heavy drone. It can be flow in gentle breezes and is static enough to leave it just hovering, giving me time to check out the app and try out the superb camera. We are I On lockdown at the moment but I am so looking forward to finding a quiet spot and give the drone a good test.
