    Sturdy product - but.....

The cleaning kit was delivered within 48 hours of ordering and I was surprised how light it felt in the box. I have just had a go at cleaning part of our conservatory roof and although the poles are sturdy they are surprisingly light even with water being fed through. There were no leaks from the poles but an annoying point was that the brush head kept coming loose. The only other issue was that on the first connection of the hose a piece of the hose connector adapter supplied with the poles snapped off. Fortunately it didn't seem to adversely affect the water flow or cause the connection to leak. In summary, the poles are sturdy and quite easy to use however, unless there is something about them I don't know I would say they are perhaps a little overpriced? That said, I think I am generally pleased with the kit.

Well made but could be better, not so easy to use.

This is a well built item but I can see the plastic connector to the hose failing at some point, it can be replaced but I think a better quality fitting could have been used during manufacture. The brush/pole is not as easy as it looks to use, certainly it does the job but I have found that once I have washed/brushed the windows and then rinsed them it is much easier to disconnect the hose and drain the water from the pole before using the squeegee part of the head, this is simply because while the pole is full of water it is quite heavy, easy for a man to use but a woman would struggle a little. Overall I am glad I brought this, I can reach the windows that are inaccessible now. These are simply my opinions after using the brush pole a few times now.

  • Cleans very well, but not so lightweight when tube fully extended and full of water. Still heartily recommend

Certainly does the job well. Untill recently my window clean tool was a long reach telescopic pole with cloth head one side and squeegee the other. You had to dip it in soapy water bucket .It did a so so job but left streaks and marks. This has a medium soft brush head one side and squeegee the other. You either have to start by dipping the head in a bucket of soapy water ( washing up liquid ) or a small squeeze of washing up liquid on the head.Washing up liquid worked fine. Once connected to a hose, water fills the telescopic tube till it emerges from the one hole at the brush head. Was worried that my water pressure may be too low at high reach, but it came out strong enough. Brushed up and down till window fully soaped then continued till all the soap began to wash away and window fully rinsed.Did not bother to squeegee, just left the window to drain and dry. Result. Window free of marks ( spider poop ) and spiders. Mostly free of streaks. But have to be very fussy to want the windows crystal clear.Still better than or equal to to £10 or more paid to window cleaners. Downside. Brush is at fixed angle so will not clean upper window sills. Heavyish because the water fills the whole tube. May not be easy for elderly to handle or lightly built ladies. The alternative is the more expensive versions that have a thin flexible tube that runs up through the middle of the pole reducing the volume of water held in the pole, but these have been noted to have problems of their own . Yet to find out what the life span of this window cleaner is having used it only once so far. Aside from the weight of water that the pole holds while fully extended, You have to tighten by hand turning the joint seals at each junction of the pole to stop the water coming out. You are warned to dry the pole before putting it away, I assume to prevent corrosion of the metal ( alloy ) making the seals not so effective.

  • Extending Brush With Water Feed

A well engineered product. I have just finished cleaning our conservatory roof using this product. I found it reasonably easy to use, however when full extended it does get very heavy to manipulate. It is probably less of a problem the more vertical you use the pole. All in all a very good product that works just as it was intended.

  • Perfect for cleaning high windows!

This is a well made products and is so easy to use. It has an on and off switch which is really useful and a squeegee on the reverse of the brush head so you can get most of the water off.

  • good quality

good quality item, you can turn the water flow off and on from the bottom of the pole, very helpfully this is. it will easy reach the windows on my house, its a bit heavy when full of water. If your spending £10 a month for someone to clean your upper windows, then this is great money saver.

  • Probably a good buy if you are fit and strong

While the build and quality of this piece of kit are fine there are limitations to it usefulness if you are not strong and physically fit. While it basic weight is moderate to light as soon as you have water running through and the wash head is loaded with water you need to be rather strong and fit especially if using towards the limits of its length. If you drain the water before sqeegeeing it gets slightly lighter but the head filled with water is still very heavy and accurate and effective sqeegeeing is difficult and the results were not great. Cleaner windows but rather smeary. So wanted it to work but....

  • good product to clean your windows well with the advantage of the squeegee to put on the pole

This water fed window pole is good for cleaning windows the only problem l found was you only need the tap on a few turns if you have the tap on full with the tap connection on your normal hose it can blow off the connection and so turn down the water supply on the small tube as well and this stops it coming off and also you don’t need so much water coming out where the brush is otherwise you have water everywhere not just on the window other than this it works well .

  • Works well but heavy and accessories seem expensive

This item works well and, considering how much a window cleaner would charge me, I reckon it has almost paid for itself already. As other people have said it is very heavy to use when fully extended but then it was less than half the price of the lightweight models which use a small diameter coiled hose. I think you need to be reasonably strong and fit to use it. As the instructions say only use up and down motions and clean each section of the window at a time. My only gripe is the cost of accessories particularly the detergent dispenser tool else I would have given 5 stars. No way I was going to pay the the amount they are asking so I rubbed some soap on the brush bristles for each window and it worked fine for me.

  • Perpare to get wet

If you are using this item to clean your second floor windows then be prepared to get wet, it does agood job and reaches the windows easily, which was why I bought it, but do not bother with the soap dispenser, plain water and the brush cleans the windows to an acceptable standard, the squeegie though is difficult to get to an angle where it will take off the water, in fact I gave up trying.
