Great way to update an older computer {Updated}
I bought this card to free up some RAM from my on-board video card and to improve the graphics performance of an older media PC, and I couldn't be happier with the choice. I chose the fanless version because I have a large case with great airflow. Installation was a snap. Video playback has improved as well as the meager gaming I do on this PC (mostly old titles like Half-Life, Starcraft, MAME and other emulators). I wouldn't know if this would rock on new high demand 3D games, but I doubt it. This is a huge step up from on-board, but it's not going to get you playing Fallout 4 on max settings. If you are looking for a cost effective upgrade, this may be the perfect choice for you, it was for me. Update: After 1 month the card caught fire last night. adequate at best
Had HDMI sound issues not working properly with my Denon surround sound receiver. The 5.1 audio doesn't pass through. Have to run HDMI from computer running windows 10 to the LG 75" 4k TV and using a fiber optic audio cable from TV to receiver. This works but dissapointed i can't use the reciever as it should. I bought this card as a low price solution for 4k video streaming. It's marginal at best. The 4k resolution is adequate but not awesome.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good entry-level video card
Good little card that will allow you to view videos in HD without the constant circling. Definitely a step up for those of us using motherboard graphics. Installation may not be as easy as some have posted - intermediate tinker skills may be needed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little card
I got a older custom built pc for free. Had some decent enough parts that I thought it would make a great lower-end gaming machine. Added the GT 710, and it purrs along nice and quiet, and totally blows away the integrated graphics option of the machine.
