Mmmm melty
Well the rods do what they say they will but I couldn’t get the hang of it. Tried to fix a hole in an air con pipe on car but I couldn’t get it to bridge the gap and ended up with a bigger hole than the one I started with. I have done a lot of mig welding on cars over the years but I couldn’t get the hang of this. Probably my technique, or lack of, than the rods.

Works well
This product works exactly like you see on demo videos. You need to properly clean the alu and use plenty of heat for larger objects or it simply won’t work. Practice on scrap first. I used a MAPP gas blowtorch (carefully) and it worked perfectly. Recommended.

Works but expensive
The product works pretty well once you get the joints hot enough, it’s just like soldering really. however it’s far too expensive for what you get.
