Genie Screw Drive Coupler
First off, I am a woman and I replaced this with a neighbors help of holding the motor while I took a pair of needle nose pliers to get the old one out and replace it with the new. First I disconnected power to unit then took a rope and tied the track up to one of the 2 X 4's up in the rafters. I then disconnected wiring and the bolts that connect the motor to the screw drive. My neighbor on the opposite side (back side of motor) held motor while I unscrewed bolts that held motor to 2x4 above. He then pulled gently the motor from track and tilted forward a little while I pried old coupler out with a pair of needle nose pliers. I then replaced with new and put unit back together. Works great and runs a lot quieter! Fixed for less then $5.00!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
