AMAZING Image Quality
I love this projector. I bought mine about three weeks ago and when it arrived, it was very easy to set up. The picture quality is phenomenal. Although it doesn't have a manual zoom option, it is short throw and the manual focus makes up for that very minor shortcoming. I purchased a universal ceiling mount for my Optoma projector and it works just fine with that setup. I play Call of Duty, Battlefield, Dying Light and other games on my Xbox One using this projector in my living room. It makes for an unforgettable gaming experience. The response time is set up with perfection for those gamers like myself. The people I purchased this product through were very patient throughout the entire purchase and delivery process. I accidentally made this purchase twice using both my PayPal account and debit card...it was actually an oversight on my part due to my over-excitement and they helped me resolve the issue...and for this, I am still grateful to the guys over there at Multi Tech, Inc. Love my optoma!
Just received my optoma GT1080 darbee and love it! Ordered a 25ft hdmi cable and took me all of 10minutes to get up and running. Haven't calibrated yet for the best pic but what I am throwing at the moment is unbelievable. It's short throw but with optional zoom in and out function, keystone correction and on screen four corner adjusting you can literally put this thing ANYWHERE. Optoma 1080p short throw projector
Great projector and the picture quality has been awesome. Easy hookup for my gaming system and the projection just onto my wall alone is top notch. 2800 lumens has a great picture quality and it works great. The seller kept in great contact with me and was able to message me with answers to any questions I had as well as concealing the packaging well, which is a great accommodation for security. Awesome
After a lot of research for a gaming short throw monitor, I settled on this. Normally it floated around $750 but i snagged it here for $530. Put it on a well lit porch, so the image was washed out during the day, but even at duck you could tell the image quality was amazing. Nice Picture
This is my first projector so I can't say what is a plus with this compared to others, however, I do definitely like it. I don't really have anything negative to say about it as it actually went above what I expected out of it. What I knew of the old projection flat screen tv's, those pictures were horrible since image enlarging didn't do well. Excellent short-throw for the price range. You have to make sure your screen is perfectly flat or every tiny wrinkle will show up on the image a bit wavy. The short-throw distance to the screen is very short providing plenty of room for guests to view as opposed to standard throw having to set the projector many feet away from the screen. For tight spaces you can't beat it. This is a fairly bright projector but keep in mind bulb life and adjust your brightness accordingly. I have three of these. One had a malfunction and Optoma stood behind it- v3ry important for projectors in this price range. Make sure your purchase has the manufacturer's warrantee just in case. Not too bad
This is probably the best for the price out there. I wanted an LED BULB TYPE but they were $5500 plus. I also wanted a 4k type but they were 4k as well. This picture is good not great, but none of the 1080 projectors are great. Only a 4k projector will suffice for a 100-120" screen. But I'm not very rich, only slightly well-to-do. The Optoma 142 is just as good, as I looked at them as well. Only bad thing is that it has to be 9 to 10 feet away from the screen. The short throw GT1080 needs only 4 feet. Sweet. Basically the further away of course the lumens should be higher for standard throw. This one is 2800 and it has to be only 4 feet away for a 120" screen. I'm using a Yardmaster 2 rear projection screen. Not bad. I'm waiting for a 4k to blast down to $1,000 bucks. Hurry up Optoma, Sony, Viewsonic and Benq. The horizontal throw is annoying on the GT1080. You need to lower the front to get the picture at your desired height. I'm using a custom bracket on the GT1080 for mounting on a dj speaker tripod from csnl. I like it because you can take the GT1080 anywhere for projection at your friend and family's homes, projecting the image on large white walls.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great Gaming Projector
