SATRA S-CVBC is heavy duty CV joint boot clamp pliers ear type O clip. They have a plate that presses a flat on the top of the clip so that it forms the spring loop correctly. Handles have 1/2" square drive for use with a torque wrench, breaker bar, ratchet where vehicle manufacturer demands specific band tensions holes.

Nice tool.
Very good quality for the DIY man especially if you are only going to use it now and again . it does what it's meant to do. perhaps the handles should be a little better shaped to hold.
