The GoPro Digital Hero 5 is a compact action camera with a fixed lens and a 5-magapixel still photo sensor. The camera supports video capture with a definition of 512 x 384 pixels and up to 30 fps. The device runs on two AAA batteries and has an internal memory of 16 MB. It functions with an SDcard with up to 2 GB of storage. The housing has a rating of 30 meters of underwater depth. The lens has an aperture of f/2.8, a focal length of 48 m, and a view angle of 54 degrees. A built in microphone captures mono sound. Great underwater videos !!!!!!
Top notch video camera. The settings are great as I can now choose linear vs wide-angle to get a more realistic video in the poll AND I now get sound with it in the pool! Highly recommend this camera! One important note: Sometimes when you insert a new microSD card you may get an error. Don't panic. Scroll down the LCD screen to Preferences. Scroll down and do Format SD Card. Then scroll down and do Factory Reset. Good but not waterproof
Gopro works fine there are some minor scratches and stuff but display and lens are flawless. Problem is that it's not actually waterproof. It still works but when i took it under water for longer than a few minutes i started to notice water under the front display. As I said it still works but i wouldn't recommend taking it under water without the waterproof case. Also the battery isn't original whitch I kinda expected so that isn't a big problem only it doesn't last very long. Super camera
The GoPro Hero 5 Black is a very light weight and easy to use action camera. The image quality is nice and clear. The best feature for me is that it water proof right out of the box. However, I did purchase a waterproof housing for my personal peace of mind. I plan to use the camera on a trip to the beach and offshore fishing along with some snorkeling. H5B works great, except GoPro App. Accessories, good except suction mount.
I have had it for a month now and have been enjoying it. The H5B is pretty good and my only issue with it is when I try and use it with the GoPro App it is super hard to connect no matter what I try on android. However my iPad does connect with no issues. This really bums me out, but it is still worth it in my opinion without the app. The accessories are pretty good so far. The bar clamp is really good, I have it attached to my quad in really bumpy terrian and no problem. Suction mount is pretty bad. Going to try and adjust it to make it better but I am looking at others. Haven't tried the sticky mounts yet. Chest rig and head rig seem ok, but have no comparison. Selfie, looks a little short but haven't tested and action cameras have a fisheye lense effect so probably not a problem. Big bang for my buck !
Big bang for my buck , easy to use menu is simple even with advanced settings. Works awesome for duel sport motorcycle riding. Amazing camera
This Go pro is way better than the other action cameras that I have used before, image quality is far superior, not having the need to use a case makes the audio to be better (unless submerge in water and go back up it gets bubbly for a while). the multiple options for resolution and fps are great to have video and edit it later to have pictures out of it on the exact moment.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
