Oooh, gritty...
I bought this as a replacement for a stone I inherited from my grandfather. It is almost exactly the same, so technology hasn't moved on much has it? I am experimenting with only using water with this one to see if it gets as clogged up with metal particles as my old one does which had oil used on it. So far seems to be better and doesn't need constant top ups with oil. Plane blades, chisels and knives all sharpen fine. Not found any problems with it at all.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
