Great Dimmer
In use for approx 10 days at time of writing this review. The dimmer was easy to fit and worked out of the box as expected. In use is a 240V 70W halogen bulb with no flickering and I could not hear any load related buzzing sound with my ear to the switch. There is a programmable leading/trailing edge power mode (see instructions) for different types of LED bulb if the need arises (default: trailing edge). The remote works great and the dimmer remembers the last used brightness. No need to ramp up unless a change is desired or required. Lastly, the on/off manual pressed operation must be applied to the small ring in the centre of the switch, not just anywhere on the front facing surface. Would be nice if it was a bit larger to swipe at a pinch. Over all, a big thumbs up. :)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bear mind if you buy one you will probably have to spend another £14.00
The dimmer is great as the ones were I bought in the past. However due the efficiency of modern Led bulbs the dimmer may not work completely on one or more bulbs as I found. With 4 x 3.5 Watt leds one continued to stay on at a very low level. This is a known issue and can be resolved with addition of a Vari light glow fix for another £14.00 or so. I can't help but feel that this should already be built into the dimmer unit itself. Once glow fix fitted the dimmer worked exactly as I would have expected.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

An excellent switch / dimmer
A replacemwnt switch for one thats gone just slightly erratic and random, but still sorks as it should when required! Just tired I guess - thought to be 27 years old. A pity its no longer available (as far as I could tell) with a chrome face plate.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
