Lightwieght and easy to use
Great for beginners just starting to sew. Even better for children. Its very sturdy and well built. I tried mine yesterday and am having a few stitching issues and tried following the instructions but it didn't really solve it, this could also be my fault not the machines and I may just need to find the right balance. Not sure it will be the best machine for making things that would be used a lot but only due to the stitching issue once I solve this I am sure it will be good. I will keep trying as I bought mine so I can carry it to a dressmaking course I'm doing and my machine is too heavy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Introduction to Sewing
I bought this little machine for my eldest granddaughter to use, it is lightweight, simple to understand and once I get her here for a lesson or two, I think she will love it. My younger granddaughter is already queuing up to "have a go"! I am a retired dressmaker and want to spark an interest in sewing in all my granddaughters as it seems to be a "dying" art as there is not much tuition on the curriculum these days. I was very impressed by the fact that it even does buttonholes, the embroidery dial is simple to understand being coded by numbers to the choice of embroidery design. A great buy and it's pink! Brilliant
I bought this machine for my 10 year old granddaughter, it is absolutely brilliant, sturdy, easy to thread, the bobbin is inserted from the top ( why aren't all machines made this way?) and easily threaded too, safety on and off for the pedal, two speeds, very slow and slow, absolutely perfect for learners, a good selection of stitch sizes and patterns, she set it up and threaded it on her own and has been sewing ever since!!
