A good old PIR operated outside light. With Edison bulb. LED ones don't last 2 minutes in our damp weather conditions.

Robus bulkhead light
Bought this to replace similar old one which packed up after 30 yrs in the hope I wouldn't have to change the wiring. Had to trim back the wiring and a bit fiddly to connect but works perfectly and the pir sensor can be turned left to right to suit the application. Good quality item.
