These are very narrow where they are supposed to fit over the top of the concrete posts. Maybe the dimensions of concrete posts have changed over the years and have changed to very narrow posts for the modern day house . Easily fixed and hold really heavy baskets
These were the second time we have purchased these. We bought 4 several years ago but after moving house decided we had more concrete posts to hang these from. They are so easy to use, just sliding over the top of the concrete post, but once your basket is hooked on,it becomes very stable and holds a really large heavy filled basket.
