An Amazing Hair Dryer
This is a compact, yet powerful hair dryer! It normally takes me 30-40 minutes to dry my curly hair - with this device, I was done in less than 15. I had my daughter check because I couldn't believe it was done so quickly!! Each attachment connects via magnets and they stay on when you set the dryer down on the counter!! Should Dyson expand into hair styling tools? NO
I was in the market for a new hairdryer so after extensive research thought I'd give the Dyson HD01 Supersonic Air Multiplier Hair Dryer a try. Just a little about my hair first for your own comparison and why I was willing to pay a high price tag; I have a lot of thin hair; I color and do the Brazilian blowouts myself because I prefer super straight hair and need to style my hair with minimum effort. I do still user a straightener because I prefer the fine angles. I was super excited about the Dyson, hoping I could get away for the straightener and anticipated the smoothness as others had mentioned. When I dry my hair, it feels like straw, the smoothness is not there until I use the cool button to set the style. Which is fine but don't think this tool will automatically give you that slick, smooth, shiny style...it just doesn't happen. I wish I would have gone with a less expensive dryer. This is the best hair dryer I've ever had. It is quiet, light weight and dries my hair quickly. I love all the different heat and speed settings. Best hair dryer ever!
I have very thick and semi coarse hair and the Dyson hair dryer worked well with the kind of hair I have. I had to buy the comb attachment separately but it was well worth it since I will be using it frequently! I can put my fingers through my hair easily now.
