The T2981 (29) Its Only Starter Cartridges Go For The T2991 (29XL) High Yield Cartridges.

When Epson sell you a new printer (Expression XP335) they only give you starter cartridges with it which hold a very small amount of ink in them T2981 black and the T2982/3/4 colour cartridges, Multi-pack T2986 (29). I used about 3 black and 2 of each colour cartridges last month and it was costing me a small fortune to run. I later found out that Epson do a higher yield version of the T2981 & T2982/3/4 cartridges which cost only a few pounds more but hold more ink in them than the starter cartridges which I was using before. What you need is a Epson T2991 on the black which hold 11.3mls of ink rather than the 5.3mls of ink that is in the T2981 black starter cartridge and on the colours what you should be using is a Epson T2992/3/4 which holds 6.4mls rather than the 3.2mls which is in the T2982/3/4 colour starter cartridges, Multi-pack T2996 (29XL). I can even go one better, I now use a company called advantage online who stock the Epson originals plus do a British premium compatible T2991 and T2992/3/4 cartridges which hold 17mls black and 13mls per colour cartridge but cost less than half the price of price of the Epson originals. I have used them a couple of times so far and have been quite impressed. I hope you don't fall into the Epson trap of selling a very good printer (XP335) at a very cheap price and then trying to charge you load of money for starter cartridges which are nearly empty..

    Brilliant ink but.......

I love printing with this ink because of it’s superb quality. But it is so expensive and runs out too quickly as well. Ironically I guess it’s the same story with other manufacturers inks?

  • Very good price quality

Item is from very good quality, printer recognized imidiatly, and prints with same quality as original cartridges but with 1/4 of the price.

  • Quality all the way.

These inks consistently produce clear vibrant prints. Best used with their own make of papers as inferior ones can impair their quality. Always accepted by the printer, unlike comparable inks.

  • You get what you pay for

I like Epson printers and in have in the past have used compatible inks but they don't always work. In the end I decided "you get what you pay for" and purchased epson inks, they work first time and give incredible copies.

  • Epson multipack 29

It now seems that Epson X235 printers will no longer print with compatible inks, as in the past, so the above Epson inks are first class for printing with the new type printers. Mind you they are hellish expensive.

  • Branded Epson Printer Ink

Very good, branded Epson printer ink that does the job. Relatively good price for a generally expensive product.

  • true inks

i don't like using copy inks in my printer as i do a lot of picture printing so was pleasantly surprised to see you selling real Epson ink for a good price thank you will be ordering again regards petsio

  • just s described

My blooming printer will not print unless all the inks are full, so just black for text will only print if the colours are OK. Just an observation. Not a comment on your inks.
