Without it your car wont run.....
What a piece of engineering from Tamiya, makes a change to see metal gear boxes rather than plastic or composite materials used. This is machined to perfection and is a direct replacement for the kit original part, This is designed for the newer re-released SRB's from Tamiya and I am not sure if it will fit an original 1980's car, I have not tried this myself as my original cars are in excellent condition for their age...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A re-release of a classic.
The Tamiya Sandscorcher released back in 1979 was to be an iconic r/c car and to this day has a huge loyal following fan club. Tamiya re-released the Sandscorcher back in 2010 and was another instant hit with r/c fans.
