A pure diamond of a book in which Mitchell Spence, a former policeman, shines the clear beam of truth onto corruption in British policing. The style, grammar and punctuation are unpolished and a sympathetic proofreader could have helped a lot, but that is well worth overlooking because the directness of expression highlights the horrific insidious malpractices which the author witnessed, suffered from, and stood against.
