This tailpipe deletes the rear silencer altogether, so expect a deeper more hollow exhaust note. It fits directly to the original centre pipe on Audi A3 2.0TDi 140 (3-door) HATCHBACK models, built in the period 2003 - 2011. (Suits both S-Line and non S-line models, but is NOT suitable for Quattro or (5-door) SPORTBACK versions. ).

Good product.
This exhaust is a good fit on a 2005 A3 2.0t S-Line. Very easy to fit and comes with required exhaust clamp. Sound is louder on idle and acceleration but doesn’t drone at motorway speeds. Would recommend.

Could be better
Just had this fitted today and to be honest it's not the best fit. I'm not sure if it's hit or miss with the manufacturing but it hangs too low and is slightly to one angle. The material seems to be a coated type of steel with chrome tile pipes so should last a good few years. Sound is good as it's deleted the back box so you get a deeper tone. I'm going to see if it can be bent into a better angle which would give it a cleaner look. But for now it's a 3 / 5

Subtle tone
Great if you want a subtle tone, but if you want a louder bass tone get a middle pipe aswell.
