Better than Plastic
Whatever possessed Roca to use flimsy plastic components on their self closing toilet seats is a mystery. Of course they would not stand wear and tear not to mention the "chrome" coating flaking. These metal replacements, although expensive, are much better quality and should last much longer. I had three toilets to do and fitting them is deceptively difficult and even by the third one I had to think carefully - fortunately I had two other toilets I could refer to. If you don't have anything to refer to keep a preciise diagram (how they fit and which way round) as you take the old parts off.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality but code instructions needed!
The original hinges were made of plastic. These metal hinges will last a lot longer. Good product but as the old hinges had disintegrated, I had no reference on how the new hinges fitted together as there were no instructions. I’m very handy but it was only when I went online and found the coding inside each part did I know how And where to fit them. These hinges look simple, but when you get them you’ll see what I mean.
