Larger than the photographs suggest...
I ordered this item to 'fill a space'...and boy, did it do well. So much for pre-planning - ignoring my customary exhaustive pre-purchase research (read check the measurements, make a paper template), from the photographs I imagined the platform to be about two inches wide, and forged ahead and ordered. I was slightly taken aback to find it is actually between three and four inches wide. This left no room, in the space I allotted, for the supply road behind like originally imagined. However, the item is of such quality and commanding appearance I decided to keep it instead of initiating a return, and there is at least space behind for a forklift truck or two. I am now awaiting delivery of a crane, which should, along with goods platform paraphernalia etc etc, complete the picture. However, if you are contemplating purchase, please be aware of my mistake, and don't just assume it will fit!
