At last a compost bin which looks good and works efficiently!
Great colour, quality sturdy rigid plastic body with metal handle. The well thought out design allows you to remove the rim below the lid, secure the bag then replace. It accepts regular compostable bags as well as their own make.The lid fits securely and the charcoal filter seems to efficiently prevent odours, so far so good! Don't buy if your problem it fruit flies....
The item is not good at all. Sorry but the reviews don't paint a real picture. If you buy this, expect fruit flies to get into it, worse then the council provided food caddy (If that's why your replacing it!). From an odour perspective, it is true the filter does contain the smell from human noses, but not enough to deter fruit flies from getting in easily and multiplying.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
