Allergist recommended
A couple of years ago I went to see an allergist because I was having trouble with constant irritations around my lips which were not cold sores. The Dr. recommended I stop using all lipsticks and lip moisturizers and use only Vaniply, while keeping a log of what I had eaten when a problem occurred. It took a few months, but I finally figured out I am allergic to sunflower oil in foods! Vaniply, and a lip gloss called Badger Balm, are the only products I use. I found sunflower oil in many, many cosmetic products, including the hand creams/lotions I was using, so there was cross contamination going on, too. I recommend this product to anyone who needs a product that is free of just about every irritant around! (For "on the go" use, I bought little Carmex containers, scooped out the Carmex, cleaned container and squeeze in Vaniply!)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product for great price
Recommended by my son's dermatologist for his eczema, but she said it was expensive. We used the sample she gave us, and fell in love with the ointment. It works to lessen the eczema rashes and his chapped lips and it has no fragrance. Looked online and in stores for best price. On eBay paid the same price for 2 large tubes (70 g each) that I would have paid for 1 tube.
