does a good job but requires a lotto maintenance after wards.
Once the pressure had been built up which took a lot of pumping it worked well until the nozzle got blocked, this was due to small particles in the fence paint which meant that the nozzle assembly had to be stripped down and cleaned. To get round this it is better to thoroughly stir the paint with a stirrer connected to a drill and then strain the paint through a mesh filter to catch any particles. I used Ronseal dark oak fence treatment with gives good coverage and repeals water after drying. after use any remaining paint has to be decanted back into the container. It also takes a long time to clean out the sprayer afterwards.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Not as good as I hoped it would be
I thought this would be a great product abd would make painting my large fence easier I was so disappointed. You gave constantly keep pumping the machine to bags it spray properly abd it was time consuming and painful for me it ended up being easier to use a brush I never recommend this I basically wasted money as I never use it again which is do disappointingVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor Product
Lasted all of 4 weeks and been used 5 times before it spring a meal on the underside hard plastic inner shell? No idea why as stored in shed on shelf. Rubbish
It does produce a spray of a sort, but it is hardly regular and dribbles Fencelife everywhere. The only way tp achieve a reasonable coverage is to go over the work immediately with a brush. Easy to clean? Sure, if you like to spend an hour or more pumping water through it and then stripping it down to clean all the components. Ronseal should be ashamed of marketing such a poor product. May be ok with watery paint.
Works well and produces an even fan if the paint is thin, but with Ronseal's Fence Life which is supposed to be sprayable it produces three jets, not regular coverage. I went back to using a good quality fence brush.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I didn't find any difference in the two settings, I think it would be better with a nozzle adjustment, but as a sprayer it worked well but that was with creocte bartoline which is thin and they say not to use in them but it was fine, I've tried water based in sprayers before and they always clogged up,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A lot of time and effort saved
Speeded up the time to paint my fence (10m long, 2m high) from about 3 hours to 1 hour per side and a lot less effort. Did both sides in a morning and that included preparing and cleaning. I used Wickes standard fence paint and thinned it down with about 10% water and the spray pattern was just right. Without thinning the pattern was a bit "splattery". After finishing and pouring the paint i had not used back into the original tub to clean the sprayer I just put plain water in the tank and gave it a shake and then sprayed it out until it ran clear,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
