Well constructed
This product is used to connect the satellite receiver made by uniden to the scanner, due to a lack of thought when making the receiver, it was fitted with only a serial port, so this is a work around. That said, it works great, does its job well and I recommend the product especially if you want to use it with the BCD436HP or other product that calls for this type of device interface.

Works as intensed
Was nervous about having to replace the power adapter for my scanner, but very pleased that this one is made by uniden, has the proper voltage, and fits my scanner. Works great!

Works Fine Last a Long Time
Purchased cable connected it to my BCD346HP and plugged directly into Garmin eTrex Legend serial cable. Works fine after setting up both units as described in book e.g. NEMA, 4800 Baud, and Degrees Minutes Seconds.

Uniden BWZG1844001 GPS Serial Cable Review
Cable requires a gender changer and null modem to work with Uniden'S BC-GPSK Scanner GPS ... Cable received with BC-GPSK DOES not. Works great when hooked up accordingly.
