This is a great product. It can also be used with Rustins professional wood filler as I found out when I couldn't find hardener for sale separate from the filler. Great value for money!

Hard to praise.
I bought this product to make a repair to patio doors. It certainly does the job and makes a solid repair. Unfortunately for me it goes off too soon and I ended up with a bit of a mess, could have been my fault who knows. I would use it again but with a lot more caution.

Huge improvement over the old products
Good colour match to tub and website image. Dries slowly compared with spirit-based products but sands beautifully. Does not soak into adjacent grain as readily so it's easy to get a neat fill area once sanded. If you're filling more than a few mm, the centre may drop a bit due to shrinkage so follow the advice and mound it slightl;y to compensate. If you do get a depression, it will fil very securely with an extra application.

Ideal for the job
The hardener I had was in tubes that had disintegrated and the hardener had crystallised. I needed more to complete a job, I ordered this and it came quickly and being in a pouch should keep well.

Don't throw away your wood filler!
Can't remember how many times I've thrown away various wood fillers, because I'd run out of the 'hardener'! No longer - great to be able to use it all now! Delighted to be able to recommend this product......and make folks aware that it exists!!

Very useful addition
Really useful product to supplement that provided with the wood filler. Perhaps there is enough catalyst provided with the filler but it never seems enough! Having this allows me to speed up curing by adding a little more to the mix. Exactly the same as the original so it does what it claims to do.

In spite of the good reviews, unfortunately this wood filler didnt work as such. I left it overnight to fill a little hole on my desk and the day after it was still soft .It was like using toothpaste. Waste of money
