Nice quality, but consider swapping out the included cable for a better one
Inexpensive and nicely made, but I have found that the USB connection at the case end is often unreliable, and though actually connected physically can suddenly appear disconnected with error message appearing on computer. Tool and Trouble Free
The case is stylish and well made. It comes with a foam pad so that 7 mm thick drives are snugly held in the case. Fitting the drive is completely tool free; just flip the lid and slide the drive into place. Once installed, the case remains securely closed. Plug in the drive and it appears in the desktop, laptop or Chromebook. I have not measured the performance, but, with an SSD SATA drive inside, it seems fast.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Saved me hours
This product has saved me a shed load of time. My old laptop died and despite me thinking it was backed up I discovered that a large number of files had failed to copy over to my back up correctly (due to a nuance of windows 10 and user errors). Luckily the data on my own laptop was held on a slave drive, independent of the SSD drive that ran the operating system and programmes. I popped out the drive from the laptop, slid it into the ORICO, connected it to another laptop and thankfully all my data is now available again. It would have taken hours to recompile the missing data from paper based records.
