The sound is even better than it's beauty.
The Nova 300 is not over hyped. It's truly a fantastic piece of modern gear. The sound quality, ease of use, # of built in components and build quality are all top notch. Add to all that it's beautiful exterior and you have something truly special. Mind blown!
Just to qualify myself I worked as a professional sound engineer for a few years and have been building and collecting high end audio equipment for over 40yrs. I was running a 2.1 bi-amped system, B&K Sonata, music hall, DAC into my B&W 686 speakers for some time with good results so I was skeptical that this Nova 300 would be the quantum leap it claimed to be in the reviews. OM_G! it delievers the most stunning sound I've ever heard for under $25,000. Beautiful and easy to use too. I had no idea my B&W's could sound so good. Soundstage and detail galore, separation and powerful bass presence. Flawless
Not a scratch on the amp. Even smells new :D Coming from a Nova 65se and this 300 has power to spare. But, since it's an upgrade from another peachtree amp, the upgrade is marginal. Still, would happily do it again if I had to! Arrived 2 days earlier than expected, as well.
