Mannnnn, these babies WORK!!! I've tried all the special weird looking glue boxes and gadgets they sell. NEVER, never, NEVER did any of those stupid things ever work! I've been having a real gewd time trying to catch a reallllll special rat for some time now. I've tried the peanut butter on a stick in the bucket trick, you name it, I've tried it. This teenie monster just laughed at me and pooped everywhere while having a blast doing what ever it wanted IN MY HOME! I even have cats!!! Even my cats were pitiful and too afraid of this particular rat. I don't think people understand what rats can be like man!!! Just one rat can make you wanna burn duh house down mannnn!!! Some rats need the real deal, in order to get rid of. We even named it, we've had it for so long. But that doesn't matter now. George is resting in peace now! I never used an old fashioned trap like this one before, but it was easy. I slapped a glob of delicious peanut butter on it, set the strap back and put it right at my bag of cat food. Left the bag of cat food WIDE OPEN! The next morning, I found little George. He wasn't so little though. He measured 10 inches in length!!! I'm still shaking from seeing this. No more poop pellets to terrorize me or my family. No more chewed through boxes of cereal, etc. No more throwing out food and constantly sanitizing EVERYTHING every single day. This rat trap WORKS, and it works great! I'm never paying money for pretend rat traps again. I HIGHLY recommend the old fashioned rat traps. They don't play games!!! If you have a filthy and dangerous rodent infestation, or just one uninvited guest, that WON'T LEAVE, get you one of these old fashioned REAL rat traps. Number 1 in our barn
We've always used victor and probably always will. These traps kill any rat caught in them. They even kill mice on occasion. I even found a four foot rat snake dead in one. Be warned if you have cats, chickens, or other small animals because if they get in these they will seriously injure or kill them. Children should be kept away too. My mother always told me they could break a finger. I've never tested that but better safe than sorry. Effective and works right away
While i prefer more humane methods, the human methods to capture the rodents alive that are offered on ebay did not work for me. I used the human live traps because i HAD large animals and the neighbors cats in my back yard. NOW that those large animals are not around, i could deploy these victor rat traps without worry of hurting the larger animals. I caught three rodents in three days. The original Victor rat trap beats them all. If you look at the piece of copper, were you place the bait there is a small cut out, pull the cut out peace up so it is straight up, which were hold your bait securely. This is the best mouse and rat trap made. I don’t know why they would replace the copper with a piece of yellow plastic which does it last .
