Excellent Emergency Aerial
This is a compact, fully functioning, emergency VHF aerial, ideal to extend the range of a handheld or provide an emergency aerial for any VHF. It is housed in a 300 by 63 millimetre robust, clear plastic tube, allowing easy and reasonably secure storage, and comes with a range of plugs for most VHF radios. The 5 metres of cable allows the aerial to be installed as high as can be reached, and it has three Valcro straps so the aerial can be attached to a wide range of available spars, masts or sticks to raise aerial as high as possible to maximise VHF range.
