Not fit for purpose
The product is of very poor quality although it is a genuine part. The part on the original [new] mower lasted approximately 2 hours [in total] before the retaining lugs sheared off. This replacement part only made it to 20 mins before the same happened. I have been in contact with Mountfield who tell me this is a safety feature to minimize engine damage and on this occasion they will send another replacement part.. I'm not expecting it to be any better than the previous ones..

does the job at a good price ,but product is made from ductall metal ,so if you hit a large stone withh lawnmower as i did it will shatter so worth buying as a spare to keep handy
