How it should be
THIS IS QUIET! We have had a 30L butterfly for a few years and we decided to get this for dry cat food since we use it often to reward our cats with snacks. The butterfly lid action profile is so much better than a full size lid that swings back and usually bangs on the wall and there is little pressure needed on the pedal. The pedal allows you to peel an apple over it and walk away or retrieve the inner can. The viscous damped lid closes slowly enough to have a quick second chance to throw something else in. The stainless steel stays amazingly clean. Pricy, but quite possibly the last trashcan you will ever buy!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
