Good Temp Controller
Bought this unit to more precisely control temps in an incubator. it is very good in that it has 0 .1 degree resolution instead of 1 degree resolution. It is a little bit tricky to figure out how the programming works exactly, but once figured out, it's pretty straightforward. One thing I wish it had, was a PID type function, where over time it can figure out the overshoot and undershoot of the temps. At the price, I would think that it would be impossible to include that, but would be great. I need to hold a pretty constant 99.5 degrees, so I have the low cut in set at 99.1, and the high cut off at 99.3, the temp will range from 99.0 to about 100.1 with this setup which is good for me, I suppose I could set it tighter, but that would wear the relay out pretty fast i'm thinking.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Change a freezer to cooler
So far works great. Took antique upright freezer that has the refrigerated shelves. Plugged into controller to maintain 38 degrees. Its very easy to program. Holds temp perfect. EXCELLENT TEMP. CONTROLLER

100% worth the money...
I have been using a few of these for about three years now to monitor temps in a couple of chicken coops here in Florida, and I have not had a single failure of either the controller or the sensors. That says a LOT about build quality to me because the summer heat, Constant 80% plus humidity, and general environment inside a chicken coop is less than "sterile" so to speak. Works Great
This controller works great, I use it for controlling electric heaters which always have poor thermostats. I set them on the low watt setting, high temp and let this device keep the room within 5 degrees. Two important notes however, make sure the heater is turned off before plugging into this controller. I have now purchased two of these and use them to control the temperature in my two dog houses. They are real easy to use and set up. I used to have one that I had to wire up myself. This one is soooooo much easier!!!

Great Product
This temperature controller is ideal for my aquariums. It is more accurate than the on/off switch for even expensive aquarium heaters and I can have 2 or more heaters absolutely in sync with each other (using a power strip or adapter). Low budget sous vide
I've been using the temperature controller it regulate the temperature of my crock pot to use it as an immersion bath cooker. Fill the crock pot with water, set to 130 American degrees, put a steak in a zip bag with all the air squished out in the water and 3 hours later you have a perfect medium-rare steak that you don't even need teeth to eat. A quick sear with a tablespoon of butter in the ol' iron skillet to give it that pretty crust and you have a 5-star meal. Perfect salmon is much quicker. Sous vide eggs to spread on toast are unbelievable.
