The non-functioning magnetic knife strip
First of all, this item is NOT the one in the picture. The item pictured is a solid magnet where as I received a piece of plastic with two tiny magnetic strips that are nowhere near strong enough to hold my knives.. Very happy with purchase. i attached it to a lightweight block of pine and then attached that to our kitchen to give it a bit of depth. love the simple clean lines and minimalistic look of the magnet. it is very strong and it is currently holding 2 chef knives, 1 serrated knife, 7 paring knives (i love knives~).
