Good enough to risk using when a hard case is too cumbersome for public transport.
It is about as rugged as a medium price gigbag can be and just fits each of my solid electric guitars. I like the double zip because they can be locked together with a small padlock to deter potential guitar heroes et al, if necessary. Easier than a 'coffin' case...
These heavily-padded versions of a gig bag offer good protection, easy carrying and good storage space in various pockets. A traditional hard case offers more protection and is better for transporting band gear, but for an individual this is a lighter and cheaper alternative.
