The newly-developed DC3 and DC4 whetstones consist of a fine diamond stone (25 micron) and a very special ceramic stone, made of synthetic sapphires. You don’t need any lubrication for these stone but now and then you should consider cleaning them with warm water and liquid soap.

Excellent, was able to sharpen mora razor sharp in about 5 minutes and make a blunt penknife adequately sharp in same amount of time. Excellent product, very happy. Even has a strop on the back of the pouch. Quality! Well happy 😁

It's perfect for small knives and gets the blade hair Poppin sharp (not mirror) bit small for F1 pro although it can do the task but if you already have a mirror polished apex then don't use it too many times but it is a great field sharpener

First time for me to delve into the world of blade sharpening,since purchase I've learned this item is the smaller size of the two?so maybe think of buying the dc4 as its slightly bigger but only slightly dearer?also these stones have to be "broken in"so you can't use straight away on a good blade?but still happy with my purchase.
