Terrible experience
Good image quality? No, it was DOA (Dead-On-Arrival)
Dead pixels? I don't know, it was DOA
A good value? I have been out of $400 for almost a month now with no working unit in hands, so, No. I wish I were a bank, that way at least I'd receive interest on the money they've had from me for all this time.
Well designed? Not really. It claims to be VESA compatible but uses out of standard screws (I had to enlarge and basically ruin my VESA arm screw holes so that it would fit this monitor). The front looks ok but just be thankful you don't have to look at its back -- it's ghastly. The ports are poorly placed. The monitor stand is heavy, very well made and stable.
Other thoughts: the manufacturer claims a 5ms response time which is an outright lie according to every video review I watched on youtube. Actually, these monitors have generally been reliably measured to have a 30 ms response time, 15 ms when you have FreeSync enabled (that is, if you have a relatively modern AMD video card and set it up to use FreeSync). So, if you are a gamer who likes FPS or other fast paced online games where your reaction is key, this monitor is not for you. That's not my case, though. All I wanted was more real estate to work as I need to have many documents open at all times. Also I wanted reliable colors, which IPS monitors tend to have, but so far I have been nothing but disappointed on both fronts.
If AcessoriesWhole decides to send me a working unit and I am able to actually experiment with the product I will edit this review. But so far it has been a month of disappointment.
