Squier Bronco Bass - Well worth the price!
For the price this is an excellent little bass guitar. Right out of the box it has a good enough sound to do a gig with as far as I'm concerned. I have done some up grades to it but they have all been cosmetic except for changing the pickup to a Hofner style Staple pup. Although the Squire pup that came in it had nice tones I preferred the tone of the one I installed. Since no pickguards were available to accommodate this mini-humbucker I made my own and incorporated a control panel cover from a Fender Mustang Bass. Better than its reputation, plays and sounds fine. Gool looking tool
Despite its reputation as a starter or teacher or beginner's bass this sounds really good and with the medium scale length neck plays very nicely.
