Condition:
Humidity Range: 0 to 100%RH. Humidity Accuracy: +/- 5%RH between 40 and 80%RH, otherwise +/-9%RH. The reset maximum and minimum pointers - first turn the red pointer anti-clockwise using the larger nut until it just touches the black point and then turn the blue pointer clockwise using the smaller nut until it too, just touches the black pointer.

MAX. MIN. THERMOMETER
This item has been successfully used in a greenhouse for the past few weeks and has performed faultlessly. The only issue I had, albeit a minor one was that I expected to reset the red hand by rotating one of the centre knobs. That is true but it also rotates the complete upper brass rim as well and as I was grasping the unit in one hand including the brass rim,I was at a loss as to why the red hand didn't move. Once the red hand is located in line with the black pointer it is easy to shift the blue hand into the same position to reset the thermometer for its next cycle. Both the temperature and humidity were checked against other instruments and found to be accurate. In all, a good looking, well made and practical item.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as good as it looks....
Small and plastic. The tail of the pointers obscure the humidity reading and also make it very difficult to read accurately the temperature. Looks smart and does the job
The product looks good and, in my opinion, is smarter than other products in the same price range. The display is easy to read. The humidity reader is an added bonus. My husband finds the max and min needles a little tricky to move one needle without nudging the other. So perhaps someone with less nimble fingers may struggle. I manage fine. I bought the product from the manufacturer. It arrived in good time and was well packaged, important factors as I had it delivered out of the UK. No batteries 😊

Good accurate and clear themometer
This is a nice looking and well made max min thermometer that is easy to read. Tested against other thermometers it gives correct readings. Infinitely preferable to the similarly priced liquid u tube type. We bought new u tube type and the blue faded out of the liquid in just 3 months .... useless. Reasonable product
It's is more lightweight than it appears, but looks alright. I bought two of them, one for the garage and one for the shed. When put together they agreed with each other, so they are at least consistent, probably accurate enough for my application. The minimum needle is quite stiff, (I realise it has to be stiffer to turn than the maximum one so that you can set each one without affecting the other one), but one of mine was very stiff which might be difficult if you don't have a very good grip. Badly designed face nearly impossible to use
This thermometer will show current temp,max temp and min temp if you have also bought some mole grips to enable you to turn the adjusting knobs,they are ridiculously tight so beware unless you a current arm wrestling champion do not buy.The layout of the dial face (see photo) is such that the other display,the humidity, is totally obscured by the tail end of all three temp pointers,well done designer.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Classic design at an affordable price
I wanted a classic style Thermometer for my wife's new greenhouse. This unit has the advantage of not needing batteries and all the problems that are associated with them. She is highly delighted and likes the functionality of being able to check the temperature ranges daily. The Humidity metre is a plus, especially now the warmer weather has arrived.
