So good, but could be better
I bought this to replace a Titan table saw that only lasted 2 years, so I decided to spend a little more and this seemed to meet the bill. It arrived early and I set to assembling it. Fiddly, but doable. Took a couple of hours (could have taken less time I guess but I'm a bloke so I unpacked the instructions last). This thing is powerful! It starts with an almighty bang, then eats through even solid, seasoned oak with ease. As with all lower price table saws, the mitre guage is suspect but I've already made a cross cut sled and put the maitre guage in a cupboard, the rip fence is pretty good for a front end only fix, but make sure to check every measurement at the blade as the rule is white on black and isn't easy to read-only especially once the sawdust gets under the viewer. What really let's this saw down is the dust extraction port. I can only assume it's there for entertainment purposes, to give you something to laugh about while your shoes fill up with dust because it is definitely NOT fit for purpose. The outlet is 25mm at most, and even with an adapter to connect my 65mm extractor hose from the heavy duty extractor, more dust sprays out of the base of the machine than gets sucked into my extractor. SURELY Fox realise how much dust these things generate? Still, overall I'm not overly displeased with the saw. My wife is, because my socks now constantly shed sawdust everywhere, but as a cutter I'm happy with it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
