Fiskars 7-16 ft. tree trimmer
I am very pleased with this tool. I live in FL. and bought it to trim various palm trees in my yard. Seems to work very well. It saws very quickly, the hook on end of blade is very good to stop blade from pulling through palm branch when using. It also helps with pulling cut branches and seed branches down out of the tree. Only down fall in my opinion is the branch blade cutter is made for other types of trees but this pull saw blade cuts just as well on palms. Richard. very effective tool for tree trimming
My Fiskars replaces an old extendable tube pole saw that had its day, but my new Fiskars is head and shoulders above my old pole saw in every way. The Fiskars has an oval pole that can't twist while cutting and keeps the business end aligned with the pole. The pull rope cutting system is much stronger and with built in leverage to provide mechanical advantage to the operator. The cutting blade and saw are both very sharp and cut with ease. The only personal con I can think of there is no sheath for the saw blade. I made one with cardboard and duct tape.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good in almost all regards
I have another pruner with an aluminum shaft that can be difficult to extend, due to binding. This pruner extends well and the saw blade works well. The spring loaded pruner blade binds against the plastic head and won't return to fully open without manually opening it with my gloved fingers. I have tried to rework it but with little improvement. The pole itself extends very easily and works great. If the pruner blade would retract as intended, it would be perfect in all regards.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
