Practically Useless
I bought this based on other reviews mostly from Amazon. its basically useless...I've learned steam at this pressure and concentration level does not remove dirt. I tried a few different applications. Bathroom, windows, hob, oven, car wheels etc. all the things its supposed to be great at, and it basically does nothing to remove dirt and grime...it creates more wet mess than it cleans. soaks everything...there is no such thing as dry steam. high pressure, it has none... cleaning capabilities practically zero...i actually bought it mainly to clean the bathroom, particularly the limescale from glass shower cubicle and it doesn't even scare it...tried sink and toilet and it takes more time to clean up the watery mess than it does using a chemical cleaner, and the chemical cleaner does a better job..i love gadgets to make cleaning easier but this is a complete waste of money...I really don't understand any positive review of this equipmentVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Vax S5 Bathroom and Kitchen steam cleaner
Not as good as I would have expected from Vax brand. Good points are: Handy on board storage for some tools and rigid tubes so you can use for floors and the handy unit has wheels so it will follow you around. Not so good points are: No indication of how much water is left in reservoir. The steam pipe in the nozzle gun gets very hot and you have to be careful to keep knuckles away from it or wear gloves.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's a tool, to be used with other cleaning stuff and elbow grease, it's won't do the job on it's own as advertised, which is normal, used as an extra hand it helps softening grease and getting into nooks and crannies, there's a learning curve which is normal with any new tool.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
