    So reliable, and with extra bleep notifications.

    Bought one of these a few years ago. So simple to use. Gives a 10 minute beep alarm, then a 5 minute beep alarm before end of cooking which is ideal for organising other food stuffs needing little attention/cooking. Has a little stand clip if desired. I am so delighted with the item, I would never choose another type.

    Culinare digital timer

    This unit is not a patch on the old culinare timer which I've had for c.10 years. The buttons on the new unit are temperamental , do not work consistently. you expect the new model to be an improvement on the original ~,if it's not broke don't change it! Poor, continues to increment 'set time' after button is released.

    Small, but beautifully formed...

    This is an excellent little timer. It's easy to operate; no need to read the instructions. :o) I like the fact that it comes with three methods of fitting; self adhesive, magnetic, and pull-out stand. The alarm is nice and loud, but not an annoying tone. I'm very please my purchase, it arrived quickly, at a reasonable price, and I would highly recommend it.

    Nice and simple…

    Bought to replace the same model bought many years ago, does just what I want, I use it most days. Saves me forgetting I’d put a saucepan on, or reminds me that something is nearly ready. It’s magnetic so I can keep it on the cooker hood, and it’s loud….

    As on the tin

    This is called a "loud beep timer" and it is as described, loud enough to hear whilst listening to the radio or kneeding bread in my kenwood chef, unlike other timers that I have tried. I have used one for many years and the only reason for replacement is that I broke the magnetic clip on the back (not easy!). The only slight negative is that it does not do seconds but for me this is outweighed by its other qualities.

    Good aid in kitchen or for exercise

    Easy to set, display is quite clear despite relatively small size. I bought it specifically because I wanted a timer that gave "warnings" 10 & 5' before the end of the time. I find this useful in the kitchen but also in particular when on the rowing machine :).

    A reliable kitchen timer.

    It is a digital timer which can be preset for a given time to count down from. It can also be used as a simple stopwatch to time how long a task takes to complete. In countdown mode, a ten minute warning and a five minute warning is given before the final time-up signal is given. A useful kitchen item.

    We like this timer & have bought them before . The display is clear & easy to use. Worth paying a little extra for. Over time the plastic case degrades a bit & absorbs marks & becomes sticky. A hard thermoplastic case might be better.

    The best timer for chefs/caterers/travellers.

    As a chef I sometimes have to get up very early for my shift. I love this because I used for my class, even when I am travelling for my serious business. I will need 3 timers to wake me up in case one does not work, each one I set 1 min. different from each other. This one has a reminder sound 2 times, then shorter later ring. This does not make too much noise like mobile phone.
