The aluminium roof ladder hooks have durable polymer wheels and a plastic coated roof hook which simply hooks over the ridge tiles of the roof. Easy to fit
I am very happy with this roof hook kit. It took about 15 minutes to fit to a ladder and it was ready to use. I have tried it on my garage roof and it worked great. This item was shipped immediately and arrived from England to me in the US when promised with all needed hardware. It is lightweight, sufficiently strong, and makes a light ladder safe to maneuver on a steep roof. It reaches over large peak vents unlike other models. Good kit
I have used the kit to turn a straight ladder into a roof top one, so that i can go from a flat surface , which is so slippery that the straight ladder would simply slide and fall to the ground, onto a roof which is also flat. With the hook fixed to it, the ladder *securely* leans against the eave and rests on the roof.
