Excellent appearance - mediocre operation
Double-pull corkscrews are so much better that single lever or simple brute force pull ones, particularly with corks that are hard to remove - which is where the double-pull operation really helps. I already have a stainless steel one bought from a French Supermarket which is not as good looking than this one and has a different double-pull mechanism, but it works like a dream on even the most stubborn corks. My expectations for this De-Luxe item were therefore extremely high but somewhat dashed by indifferent performance on stubborn corks.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works very well, much easier to use than a standard corkscrew or similar products without the extra bend for leverage when pulling out wine corks.
