Needs a good flat concrete floor.
My garage floor had sunk a bit in the middle since it was made in 1965. So I needed to get things levelled out first. The seal works well once you have fitted it snuggly under the garage door. The unibond fixer and sealant also worked well, I used the whole tube to make sure the rubber seal was firmly stuck to the floor. One useful tip: you might want to lay out the seal cut to length and tucked under the door for 24hrs before you stick it down. If the seal has been curled up for a while it will need flattening out and you can also see if you need to build up the floor a bit with quick set mortar to make things snug when fitted.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works great & easy to fit
Prevents rainwater and leaves being driven under the garage door and does it well. The instructions are clear & simple to follow. You'll need a sealant gun to use the cartridge of sealant supplied but these are cheap from diy store. Take the strip out of the box and lay out somewhere warm inside your house for half an hour to relax the twists before fitting. It's easy to cut with a sharp craft knife and the amount of sealant is easily enough. Don't be tempted to put too much sealant down, as it squishes out & makes a bit of a mess, about half the tube for one full strip is ample, in a zig-zag pattern. Simple,instruction guided DIY fix that takes 20 minutes to complete. No more leaves under the door.
Easy DIY task that took 20 minutes to place and 24 hrs to cure. My garage used to get leaves and worms when it had rained coming under the up and over door because of the gap. Great item for stopping water ingress at an excellent price. Plenty of adhesive with good instructions . I like the white stipe in the centre as it could be a trip hazard otherwise. I still get some water on the far left hand side but it does dip in that area thus needs some adjustment I would say. Easy to fit and does what it says on the can
Bought to stop water creeping in. Followed instructions. Cut to size with sharp blade. Marker pen once if got it all lined up. Stuck it down and used rubber mallet to make sure it was down then used the glue mastic to seal the edges. See pix. Thanks.

Excellent product - now have dry garage .
Bought this seal as wind and rain was constantly flooding my garage in storm conditions. The Stormguard seal has solved the problem by allowing the door to sit against the raised part of the seal hence not allowing any rain past.
